The first “Belt and Road” International Chess Open was held in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province. Simultaneously, Qinhuangdao City signed International Chess Exchange Friendship City agreements with five participating cities: Krasnodar, Ankara, Ljubljana, Minsk, and Tehran. Minuage was invited to design the “Memorandum of International Chess Exchange Friendship City” for the signing ceremony. Minuage depicted the iconic buildings and landscapes of each pair of sister cities within a single skyline, integrating chess elements to symbolize friendship, inclusiveness, and cultural exchange.
